Blush & Bashful: Winter Wedding Inspo

If you think winter whites or rich reds and greens are the only two ways to go about a winter wedding, think again.

Cascade Floral Wholesale had the pleasure of participating in a cold-weather wedding shoot recently that left us swooning. The signature color? Blush. It’s a palette that always feels fresh and just a touch vivid, full of warmth and yet cool enough to blend in with a stark wintry scene. Just a shade shy of rosy, blush offers the kind of softness that’s perfect for layering, especially when it comes to flowers. Luckily, a variety of them come in the shade.

Blush signals that spring, while seemingly far off, is ever on the horizon. A mounded bouquet of roses is a delicate accessory to a sweeping gown and a sweeping of snow. Build with Bombastic and La Perla roses.

A glittering beaded bodice is all the sparkle you need. A clutch of pale pink and creamy flowers brings dimension to the bridal look. Craft the perfect bouquet with Quicksand and White O’Hara roses.

You can easily create this dreamy effect using one of our Vintage Blush combo collections, which come in standard and luxury mixes. A rich variety of florals—among them lilies, rose, waxflower, carnations, protea and hydrangea—allows you to create bouquets and other groupings that elaborate on a blush color theme.
