8″ Poinsettias are a sign of the Christmas holiday. Our 8″ Poinsettias are grown for us in greenhouses in Canada. The classic bright Red or the more unique pink, cream and variegated styles is the foliage of the poinsettia and is called Bracts. The flower on the 8″ poinsettia is actually the tiny “seed” like center that opens as the Poinsettia ages.

8″ Poinsettias are stunning in a large group for displays or used individually as accents for the home.  Use the varied pot sizes of 10″ Poinsettia and 6″ Poinsettia to create different height levels for visual interest.

Recommended Delivery: 3-4  days before your event. For example, if the event is Saturday, recommended delivery date would be Wednesday.

8″ Poinsettias feature multiple bracts per plant.

The pot is 8″ in diameter and the average height is 20″ tall. 

Packaged to protect the Poinsettia:

• The poinsettia is wrapped in plastic to protect their delicate bracts. Remove the wrap as soon as possible to allow their leaves to spread and to discourage molding, as the soil likes to be consistently moist.
• The poinsettia may arrive narrow and oddly shaped, but this is another result of the shipping process. Take the poinsettia out of the cardboard box and removing the plastic wrap. Once the poinsettia has been watered and its leaves begin to relax, it will open to its full-size.
• Poinsettias are in the Euphorbia plant family which means they produce a white sap when their stems are broken or torn.  This milky sap can cause nausea to animals if digested in large quantities. It can also cause skin irritation to humans. Please take the necessary precautions.
