The 8″ Peace Lily, also known as a Spathiphyllum, is a popular house plant with glossy, dark green leaves that spike from the soil before they unfurl. They are known for their long- lasting white blooms that often appear in spring.
The 8″ Peace Lily pairs well with other humidity- loving plants, such as the Plumosa Fern and Springeri. Peace lilies can grow up to 3 feet tall indoors when grown in the proper conditions. The flowers emerge from a leaf stalk and range in color from white to yellow to green. They have a cupped petal that surrounds a central spadix in white or yellow.
The 8″ Peace Lily is native to Central and South America. Despite its name, it is not a lily! The Peace Lily is part of the Araceae family and is closely related to Anthurium and Alocasia plants.
