Azaleas come in a variety of hues, from deep jewel tones to pastel pinks and bright whites. Their tight buds give you a peek at the colors to come, and as they grow, the buds peel open to reveal beautiful 1-2-inch ruffled flowers. When cared for properly, these plants can bloom in almost any season, year after year. Keep an Azalea happy by keeping its soil consistently moist and keeping the air around it humid – which you can achieve by placing its pot on a tray filled with wet pebbles.

Pair this moisture loving plant with an English Ivy plant for contrast or a Hydrangea plant for an extra pop of color.
